What ports do I need open on my home firewall?
- UDP 10500
- TCP 8096
If your firewall restricts access to these ports, you will need to update your firewall settings before you can use Airnet.
Do I need to allow inbound connections for Airnet to work?
Port 10500 requires both inbound and outbound connections. Port 8096 requires only inbound connections for Airnet to work.
The Linux Airwall Server will not install on my device.

What does the check mark in the Online column mean?
The check box indicates that the Airwall Agent has connection to the control server
What does a green check mark in the Online column mean?
The check mark turns green when the Airwall Agent has a HIP tunnel established
How do I check that I am connected?
The green check box in the "Online" column of the Airwall Agent. All Airnet participants can log in and see their status.
I've added a device, but it does not show as online in the dashboard.
If the Airwall Agent on the device shows it is connected to the Conductor, try refreshing your browser.
I don't see any icons in the dashboard, only small squares.
This is an issue specifically with the Safari browser. Force a refresh of your icon cache (CMD + OPTION + R) and the page should display correctly.
Why is my device constantly trying to connect?
If you delete a device from Airnet, the device is not notified and will continue to try to connect. Contact the owner of the Airnet free trial and ask them to send another invitation.
I have a Samsung phone. I’m having trouble signing up with my Samsung phone.
There is an issue with signing up for Airnet from a Samsung phone where you may have to log in to Airnet twice. Samsung makes the Samsung browser the default. When you logged in to Airnet the first time from your e-mail it was using Chrome, and the second one to activate followed the default to the Samsung browser instead.
