The visualization canvas

The visualization canvas displays a visual representation of your Airnet network. You can move devices around on the canvas, or add and remove connections between devices.

Connect devices in your network

Connecting devices together is easy. Click the pencil icon below the visualization pane, click and hold the left mouse button on a device, drag your mouse to another device, and release the left mouse button.

Note: When you move your mouse over the target device, a green circle appears to indicate the connection is valid. If the circle is red, the two devices cannot be connected. The most likely reason is the target device is not activated.
Alternatively, if would like to connect a device to all other devices in your network, you can right-click on the device and select Connect to all peers. A connection will be established from the device to all other devices present in your network, with the exception of devices that have not yet been activated.

Disconnect devices in your network

If you want to remove a connection between two devices, click the pencil icon below the visualization pane, place your mouse pointer over the connection you want to remove. When the line changes color to red, simply click on it to remove the connection.

Alternatively, if would like to disconnect a device from all other devices in your network, you can right-click on the device and select Disconnect from all peers. Connections between all other devices in your network and the target device will be removed.

Reposition devices on the canvas

You may want to move your devices around to make it easier to see the connections between them. There are several ways to do this on the canvas.

Move
Click this icon to move your devices on the canvas manually.
Center
Center your network visualization on the canvas. The Center function will also zoom to include your entire network on the visible canvas.
Reset
Return all devices to their default positions.
Note: The right-click context menu is active in all of these modes, allowing you to make device changes without switching back to Edit mode.
