  - Factory Reset a Conductor
    Reset aConductor to return it to the original factory settings. If a HIPservice is not online at the time of a factory reset, and an SRV record is configured for the MAP server in DNS, the Conductor performs these actions when the HIPservice next comes online.

    You can reset a virtual Conductor to return it to the original settings.
  - Reboot a HIPswitch
    Rebooting a HIPswitch is one of several diagnostic techniques that you can use to help troubleshoot. For instructions on rebooting your HIPswitch, refer to its Product Guide.
  - Factory Reset a HIPswitch
    You can reset HIPswitches to return them to the original factory settings. If a HIPswitch is not online at the time of a factory reset, and an SRV record is configured for the MAP server in DNS, the Conductor performs these actions when the HIPswitch next comes online.
  - Revoke and Reactivate a HIPswitch
    If a HIPswitch is lost, stolen or damaged, you are able to revoke the HIPswitch provided that you are a manager of all overlay networks to which the HIPswitch belongs. Once revoked, the HIPswitch will not be able to establish communications to any other HIPswitches and other HIPswitches will not be able to communicate with this HIPswitch.
  - Troubleshoot MAP2 Protocol Issues
    Conductors and HIPswitches running versions 2.0.0 or greater use a new metadata protocol (MAP2). MAP2 allows for better scalability and performance than the previously implemented IF-MAP protocol.
  - Measure wireless signal strength - WiFi and cellular
    There are two methods to determine the signal strength of a WiFi-enabled HIPswitch.

Factory Reset a Conductor
