Measure wireless signal strength - WiFi and cellular

There are two methods to determine the signal strength of a WiFi-enabled HIPswitch.

1. Go to HIP Services and select a HIPservice from the list. Click Reporting, where the signal strength is reported every five minutes.
2. Place the HIPswitch in diagnostic mode. See Put a HIPswitch into diagnostic mode for more information.
3. Once the HIPswitch is in diagnostic mode, select Status on the diagnostic page.
4. The wireless signal strength is displayed. Refresh the diagnostic mode page to update the signal strength. Signal strength is updated every 5 seconds.
