Configure Conductor Remote Logging
The Conductor can be configured to send system log messages to a centralized logging service. Your environment must have a syslog service available on the underlay. The central logging service can be configured by a System Administrator in the Settings tab.
Note: You may need to coordinate with your network administrator to determine the proper syslog
service configuration for your environment.
Once the logging service is configured, the Conductor begins to duplicate system log messages to the configured logging service. The HIPservices also obtain the logging service configuration from the Conductor. Once a HIPservice has retrieved the logging service configuration, it will duplicate its system log messages to the logging service. When configuring syslog, you can specify whether you’d like to log Conductor messages, HIPservice messages, or both.
Note: Only UDP syslog messages are supported at this time.
