LDAP group setting Description
System admin groups Members of these groups are given System Administrator access. Be sure to only add trusted groups to this setting.
Read-only admin groups Members of these groups are given System Administrator access. Be sure to only add trusted groups to this setting.
Network manager groups Members of these groups can manage overlay networks. Network membership is defined after the user has logged in for the first time.
Remote access user groups Members of these groups can only use a HIPswitch as a remote access user. Network membership must be defined after the user has logged in for the first time.
Group class name Name of an objectClass that the group entry must contain in the LDAP directory, such as:
  • Active Directory: group
  • LDAP: posixGroup
Group attribute name This is the name of the attribute in the group entry that contains the list of users in that group:
  • Active Directory: member
  • LDAP: memberUID
