Configure a Conductor for High Availability
Conductor High Availability (HA) provides hardware redundancy between two Conductors and requires a manual failover. When creating a Conductor HA pair, one Conductor is assigned as the master and the second is assigned as the standby. The master Conductor is used to manage HIPservices, overlay networks and communications policies.

Note: Conductor High Availability requires TCP port 443 to be open to validate its peer Conductor's version and to send firmware upgrades to the standby.

Upload the new Conductor firmware upgrade package to the master Conductor.

Note: The master Conductor sends the firmware upgrade package to the standby Conductor.
Upgrade the standby Conductor and wait for the upgrade process to complete.
The standby Conductor is automatically promoted to the master role after the upgrade.
Upgrade the master Conductor and wait for the upgrade process to complete.
Once both Conductors are upgraded, demote the designated standby Conductor back to the standby role from Settings > High Availability.
