HIPclient Configuration
Once installed, configure the HIPclient with the IP address or hostname of the Conductor. You can then start and stop the HIPclient at any time. When you stop the HIPclient, the device can no longer communicate within an overlay even if communications policies are enabled.
The HIPclient can be uninstalled using the Windows uninstall process.
Note:
- A HIPclient can participate in an unlimited number of overlay networks
- The HIPclient does not disable the wired or wireless interfaces of the Windows machine. For example, a Windows laptop running a HIPclient can at the same time be connected to the internet wirelessly, and the corporate network via a wired connection
- A HIPclient license cannot be shared between multiple Windows machines
