Troubleshoot the HIPclient and HIPserver

Follow the instructions below to resolve problems you may encounter using the software.

The HIPclient is not connected.

Determine if the Conductor IP is configured. Follow the steps in the configuration section above.
Verify that the HIPclient has not been given a certificate. Your administrator must grant a license in the Conductor. See the Conductor and HIPservice Administrator Guide for more information.

The HIPclient cannot contact a protected device

Configure the peer HIPswitch with an overlay network IP address and reestablish trust.
