Replace a HIPswitch
A HIPswitch that is a member of one or more overlay networks can be replaced by a HIPswitch that is not a member of an overlay network.

Replace a HIPswitch

A HIPswitch that is a member of one or more overlay networks can be replaced by a HIPswitch that is not a member of an overlay network.

To replace a HIPswitch:

Go to Dashboard.
Open the drop-down to the right of the HIPswitch you want to replace and select Replace.
In the dialog, select the desired replacement HIPswitch from the list of available replacements and click Replace.

When the replacement is complete, the new HIPswitch will be configured with the same overlay network membership and policy configurations as the previous HIPswitch, as well as user-specified information.

Note: Customer provisioned PKI identities do not transfer during the HIPswitch replacement process.
